Un immeuble des années Soixante.

We stayed in this same apartment for a month last year and were so happy with it that when we were returning to Paris for 2 weeks this year we wanted to stay here again. It is quite comfortable, close to everything and the view from the windows is beautiful. We especially liked being so close to Le Jardin des Plants and felt like this was our home away from home!
Very nice apartment that is exactly what we were looking for: a clean, safe, quiet place to be our base for our first visit to Paris. We spent our days exploring and our nights resting. This apartment was very comfortable, good light and airy. On a relatively quiet street with schools, restaurants, a museum and a magnificent park close by. Also close to good food shopping and two blocks from the Metro. Very non touristy area but easy to get anywhere in Paris.
I stayed in this apartment for two weeks to write, and it was a perfect spot, with views over the gate to the Jardin des Plantes and the Natural History Museum. Next to it is the Mosque. The rooms are spacious and full of light, with a relaxing atmosphere and decor, better than the photos. There are French windows in the lounge, which open onto a balcony. I loved to open those first thing for the morning sun. The kitchen and bedroom also are light-filled, as is the bathroom. It was fascinating to watch the comings and goings through the gate of the Jardin, and I was two minutes away from the secret Jardin Alpin where I wrote early mornings, and the zoo which I could walk around before returning to relax in front of the windows. Plenty of fine local restaurants, a handy supermarket a minute away. The street can be a bit noisy but the windows are double glazed which deals with that and fans were supplied, when I wanted quiet, and there are also shutters at night. Highly recommended.
My husband and I spent a month in Paris living in this apartment in the Latin Quarter. We indeed enjoyed our stay in Paris and the apartment and location was perfect‹. It was the hihlight of our journey through Europe. We truly did not want to leave and hope that someday we will be able to return and definitely would want to return to this apartment. The people at My Apartment in Paris were all very helpful.
We certainly enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming to Paris again at some point in the future. Many thanks for all your help.
