Find your quality furnished rental on the Île Saint-Louis or Île de la Cité in the 4th arrondissement, managed by us.

The Île Saint-Louis and the Île de la Cité are the two main islands of Paris. Both bordered by the Seine, they are composed of furnished apartments typical of 17th and 18th century. Real historical heart of Paris, their numerous bridges such as the Pont Neuf, the Pont Notre-Dame, or the Pont de Sully make the link between the Right Bank and the Left Bank of Paris.

The Île de la Cité is the cradle of the city of Paris, formerly called Lutetia. It was not until 310 AD that Lutetia took the name of Paris. Paris comes from the name of the Gallic people the Parisii, an abbreviation of 2 Latin words “civitas Parisiorum” or “urbs Parisiorum”. Besides, administratively, it straddles the 4th and 1st arrondissements.

Some of the most remarkable historical monuments of Paris are located on the Île de la Cité. The first of them is of course the Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral. The Palais de Justice, the Sainte Chapelle, the Conciergerie or the Hôtel-Dieu are the other main buildings. On the tip of the island, near the Pont Neuf, is the Place Dauphine which was in its time, like the Place Vendôme, a royal Parisian place. A furnished apartment on the Île de la Cité guarantees you to share the history of the capital.

To the east is the other island in the historic center of old Paris, the Île Saint-Louis

The Île Saint-Louis, entirely in the 4th arrondissement, is smaller and more peaceful than its twin sister. Its charm certainly does not leave indifferent those who walk there, whether it is the typical small streets or the quays of the Seine.

Formerly Île Notre Dame, it connects the Right Bank of Paris and the Marais with the Pont Louis-Philippe and the Pont Marie while the Pont de la Tournelle connects it to the Left Bank of Paris and the Latin Quarter. This island is very sought after by tourists, particularly for the “village” aspect that can still be found there. Apartments available for long-term furnished rental are rare. Living on the Île Saint Louis is a real luxury, having an apartment with an elevator is even more so.
