Our Booking Conditions

How can I book and how much does it cost ?

Online booking :

  • If one of the offers suits you, enter your dates of stay, the number of guests and confirm your choice by clicking on the button "add to my selection"
  • Click on the tab "see my selection" to find the apartment(s) you have selected.
  • Fill in the spaces related to your demand and personal information, then click on "submit request"
  • We will then send you a link to book online. This link will be valid for 24 hours. An option on the apartment will be held for this period. Please check your junk mail box if do not see any answers, as some email clients redirect our email there automatically.
  • After receiving your mail, click on the blue button "I book online" to access the secured online payment space. You will be guided all along the process.
  • After confirmation of your payment, please send us a copy of your passport and your arrival time in Paris. We will send you a confirmation mail with the rental contract and the insurance form, which you will have to send us back filled and signed.
  • If your arrival date is under 7 days (starting from the day of your booking), you will have to pay the balance of the rent in one time. After confirmation of your payment; you will then receive the instructions for your check-in.
  • In the other case, the balance of your rental will have to be paid one month prior to your arrival. At every step we will send you a link to book online.

Classic method :

Should you prefer an alternative way of booking, we can send you authorization forms to fill. For that, you will just have to go on our website and proceed as follow:

  • If one of the offers suits you, enter your dates of stay, the number of guests and confirm your choice by clicking on the button "add to my selection"
  • Click on the tab "see my selection" to find the apartment(s) you have selected
  • Fill in the spaces related to your demand and personal information, then click on "submit request"
  • We will send you the booking conditions by email, along with an authorization form. An option will be held on the apartment you will have selected for the next 24h.
  • To confirm your booking, you will have to send us back the authorization form along with a copy of your passport.
    • For a rental under 3 months, you will have to pay 30% of the total amount of the rental (VAT included)
    • For a rental between 3 and 6 months, those fees are the same as for a 3 month rental.
    • Over 6 months, you will have to pay 1,5 rental months VAT included.
  • Warning: The agency fees are not refundable if you choose to cancel or modify your booking, but you can subscribe to a cancellation insurance during the booking process..
  • After reception of your payment, we will send you a confirmation mail with the details of your stay.
  • The balance of the rent must be paid at least 4 weeks before the arrival date. For rentals over 3 months, the first 3 months will have to be paid. The balance of the next 3 months will have to be paid at the end of the second month of rental, and so on for the following semesters.

How to pay ?

  • Online payment :
    • Credit card : Visa, Master Card
  • Classical method :

    • Bank transfer (associated fees must be born by the tenant)
    • French bank cheque

What if I need to cancel my stay ?

No matter the reason of your cancellation, the amount paid cannot be reimbursed, except if you subscribe to a cancellation policy
Can I change the dates of my booking ?
  • If the apartment is available on your new dates, then you will have to pay a 60? fare (VAT included) for changing the contract.
  • If the apartment is not available on your new dates, then the change will be considered as a cancellation.
  • In case of departure before the end of your booking, you can?t be reimbursed. However, you can be reimbursed in specific situations if you subscribed to an insurance policy

When can I get into the apartment?

  • Your apartment is available from 3PM to 6:30PM on business day. We will personally welcome you in your apartment. To do so, you just have to send us your travel details.
  • Beware that an extra 50? will be charged for arrivals and departure before 9AM or after 6:30PM, on Sundays or on bank holidays. No check-in or check-out between 10PM and 6AM.
  • Provided the apartment is available before your arrival, you can check-in before 3PM. Departure must be before 11AM so we can clean your apartment.
If you rent a Parisian Apartment, you directly get in touch with the owner and agree on a check-in and check-out time. Along with the owner, you will proceed to the incoming and outgoing inventory of fixtures.

What is included in the rate?

  • High speed Internet connexion, phone and TV if mentioned in the apartment description.
  • Electricity consumption for weekly stay
  • Landlord?s home insurance policy
  • House linen and towels

What is not included in the rate?

  • Subscription and electricity consumption for monthly stay.
  • Phone calls, internet and TV fees or services not included in the package or if the package is not included in the presentation of the apartment.
  • Final cleaning after departure.
  • House linen an towels
  • Housing tax for stays over 3 months.
How much does the final cleaning cost ? Depending on the size of the apartment and the length of your stay, the final cleaning is charged from 60 to 225 euros. The tenant has the responsibility to return the apartment in the same state of cleanliness as it was prior to his/her arrival (ex†: clean dishes, empty trash, etc?.). If not, the service will then be billed on a 26 hour basis, VAT included.

What are the necessary insurance policies?

  • You can subscribe to a cancellation policy.
  • If you are staying more than 3 months, you have to subscribe to a multi-risks housing insurance policy before getting in the apartment.
  • On a personal level, you have to be covered by a professional liability and material insurance (check with your insurance company before your departure). A proof of your professional liability insurance coverage will have to be presented to My Apartment in Paris on the day of your arrival. If not, you have to subscribe to an ADAR professional liability and cancellation insurance during the booking

What about the banking fees ?

  • For every bank transfer, you will heave to bear the transaction fees.
  • If you pay your rent using a Visa or Mastercard, you will have to bear the transaction fees (2%).
  • The payment of the agency fees will not imply any transaction fee if settled by Visa or Mastercard.

What is the use of a security deposit ?

  • A security deposit will have to be paid upon your arrival. Its amount is the same as the rent one, with a minimum of 2 weeks of rent and a maximum of 2 months of rent.
  • For stays up to 2 weeks, the security deposit can be completely replaced by a pre-authorization or a credit card imprint.
  • For stays over 2 weeks and up to 3 months, only half of the security deposit can be replaced by a pre-authorization or card imprint.
  • For stays over 3 months, the security deposit will be charged completely.
  • The security deposit will be reimbursed to the tenant at the latest one month after the end of the stay, after deduction of the different consumption and deterioration observed during the outgoing inventory fixtures if any.

Security deposit can be paid by cash, bank transfer or credit card (2% transaction fees)

Can you smoke in the apartment ?

Unless otherwise specified, every apartment is non smoker. Any failure to this rule will imply extra charges for the tenant for cleaning and deodorizing the apartment.

Can I bring my pet with me ?

Unless otherwise specified, no pets are allowed in the apartments.
